PUMPS&VALVES, extensive programme of activities and open meetings

Pumps & Valves, International Trade Show for Pump Systems, Valves and Equipment for Industrial Processes, will hold its third edition combining exhibition with an extensive programme of parallel activities. As a new addition this year, the event includes Open Meetings, an initiative in which exhibiting companies and sponsors will be able to come into direct contact with the invited buyers. Professionals confirmed include national and international buyers, representatives of some of the leading EPCs from Egypt and Sharjah, and the third emirate in terms of volume of the United Arab Emirates. The former will be present due to the heavy investment in new infrastructures in the country, so not only EPCs will be attending but water boards too. As for the Emirate, it is looking for water and electricity equipment for new projects. In the European sphere, the presence of Portuguese, Polish and Spanish companies can be highlighted.

They can all opt for holding interviews with the exhibiting companies that wish to do so. In total, Pumps&Valves has an exhibition area with 140 participating firms, including manufacturers and distributors of processing equipment, industrial pumps, valves and control valves, filtering equipment and technology and metering, test and control equipment.

Finally, the Pumps&Valves conference programme is marked this year by the intervention of the sector’s first rate cutting edge companies, with an extremely high level of specialisation. Under the title, “Challenges and opportunities of engineering, operation and connectivity of fluid processing equipment”, TechnipFMC, Air Liquide, Repsol, Accenture, John Craine Ibérica and Precognice will kick off the day of conferences. This first session will be followed by a vision of the “Challenges and innovative solutions  for improving energy efficiency, reliability and safety” by BP Oil, Inerco, Tarragona Water Board, Nuovo Pignone-BHGE and Petronor.
