From 4th to 6th June Bilbao Exhibition Centre will offer seven fairs for the most advanced industry at +Industry, the platform that will host in parallel Subcontratación, Industry Tools by Ferroforma, Addit3D, BeDigital, Maintenance, Pumps&Valves and Fitmaq, in addition to the Workinn employment forum. Around 1,300 firms from 35 countries, more than 100 speakers, innovations in all sectors and international visitors from the manufacturing and distribution sectors will be the key features of a large-scale meeting, whose distinctive mark are the synergies between professionals, included in the claim “Adding trade fairs, creating industry”.

Over three days, Exhibition Halls 1, 3 and 5 will offer a full journey with a 4.0 approach, through products and services in manufacturing processes and supplies for industry. It will combine commercial exhibition with technical workshops, live demonstrations, speakers’ corner and B2B meeting programmes. Professionals from sectors like aeronautics, automotive, capital goods, railway, engineering, machine-tool, naval, petrochemical, as well as distribution channels such as industrial supply warehouses, hardware cooperatives or purchasing groups have already registered to visit this event.

Industry and advanced services, which already represent 55.7% of the economy in the Basque Country, present a complex and ambitious scenario that requires extensive knowledge in technology and public-private networks. In this context, +Industry offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge, access or display new solutions live and close business thanks to the participation of companies and public entities committed to R&D&I and the new paradigms of smart manufacturing. +Industry will be opened by the Basque Government’s Minister for Economic Development and Infrastructures, Arantxa Tapia.

More than 500 firms from 27 countries present new business opportunities at SUBCONTRATACIÓN

A total of 543 exhibiting firms from the entire manufacturing chain from 27 countries will participate in Subcontratación 2019, International Fair of Manufacturing Processes and Equipment, to offer visitors the most advanced technology and specific solutions to their needs. Part machining and manufacturing, as well as casting and transformation without chip removal are some of the main activities of exhibitors. At an international level, it is worth highlighting the participation of an important delegation from Portugal through three metallurgy and electromechanical associations from that country: AIMMAP, ANEME and AIDA. French participation features the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Bayonne, which is attending with the Industries of the French Basque Country brand with a joint participation including the Additivalley, Big Data y LSR Silicone Hub consortiums.

In parallel to the event, the 18th European Industrial Subcontracting Meeting will be held. This programme of scheduled meetings will include international purchasers from 100 subcontracting companies from countries like Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Morocco, Serbia and Sweden. Representatives from leading companies such as Faiveley Transport-Wabtec, Indra Sistemas, ContiTech Fluid Serbia, Voith Hydro & Co. Kg and Mbda Spa Italy will also be present. The event is organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce and BEC, with the collaboration of the Spanish Subcontracting Network.

Within the framework of Subcontratación, the second edition of Polveri&Ecocoating will be organised, a monographic space addressing surface treatments. The event will combine the exhibition and congress section. In the former, suppliers of machinery, equipment, consumables and services of the sector will participate whilst the speeches in the second section will offer a full vision of the latest advances in technological innovation, with special focus on products and systems for industrial painting and powder coatings.

INDUSTRY TOOLS by Ferroforma: A strategic change for a new industrial positioning

A total of 343 exhibiting firms from 22 countries will participate in the first edition of Industry Tools by Ferroforma, an event that came about with the objective of offering the best showcase for industrial products and tools. The exhibition will be divided among industrial supply and construction companies (25%), locksmiths (19%), hand-held portable power tools and woodworking tools (18%), hardware (14%), fixings (8%) and services (7%), in addition to elevations, handling, transport and logistics, occupational protection and industrial cleaning.

The development of the B2B meetings between exhibitors and potential purchasers will increase the international profile of Industry Tools. Delegates from Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Argentina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Croatia, Ecuador, Egypt, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Serbia, South Africa and Tunisia will go to BEC to hold 20 minute meetings with exhibiting firms in a format in which both quality and quantity prevail.

The fair includes the collaboration of the leading sectoral associations and groups of manufacturers and users, which have promoted the new Industry Tools event among its associates and will organise different actions therein. In this section, it is worth highlighting the creation of the “APECS Area”, calling upon all of the companies from the locksmith and security sector and with its own technical workshops, the presentation of Masif, Associated Women of Industrial Supply and Hardware, which will make the presence of women in the sector visible, or the “Industry Genius” area, coordinated by the fair and Inventos Eureka, where the latest industrial inventions will be revealed. Other entities collaborating in the event are AFEB, ASEFI, ASEPAL, ARVET, AFEF, Eskuin and the Basque Government.

Innovation by international brands at ADDIT3D

The additive manufacturing and 3D printing sector is having a strong impact on industry, to which it offers new technologies, materials, applications and even business models. In this context, ADDIT3D faces its fourth edition, increasing its exhibition offer and solutions thanks to the participation of 102 exhibiting firms, including large international brands such as DMG MORI, HP, SLM Solutions, Stratasys, EOS and TRUMPF, in addition to front-line companies like Dynamical Tools, Addilan, Optimus 3D, Markforged, Hage and Sicnova. They will all present important advances in the development of industrial applications related mainly to systems and machinery, materials and industrial applications.

The new HP Jet Fusion Series 5200 3D printing solution, which opens the door to the predictability of manufacturing, enables costs to be optimised and favours the creation of new applications, the Tumaker 3D Printer station, which has a pellet direct extrusion technology, as well as the LASERTEC SLM layered series for Additive Manufacturing presented by DMG MORI are just some of the many innovations and products registered in the ADDIT3D directory.

The event, the only industrial fair focusing on additive manufacturing and 3D printing in Spain, will combine the exhibition and product presentation area with the congress section. BeDIGITAL, the benchmark forum for digital transformation in industry

In its second edition, BeDigital has become the reference forum for digital transformation in industry. The event will address today’s challenges and keys through leading companies from sectors such as cyber security, Big Data & analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), augmented and virtual reality, software solutions, cloud computing & services and information technologies. The 47 exhibiting firms include leading names, such as Kaspersky, S21sec, Semantic Systems, Vixion Connected Factory, Innovae Augmented Reality Agency, Check Point, Dassault Systèmes, SAP and Captio Tech.

The Digital Talks conference programme will include a talk by the Fraunhofer-Institute for Mechatronic Systems Design, which will address the “use of digital twins”. “Experiences in the securisation of industrial control systems” will be another conference, which will be given by S21SEC. MAINTENANCE exceeds surface occupancy expectations

Maintenance, the International Industrial Maintenance Fair, has exceeded surface occupancy expectations in its third edition. The event, which has grown and become consolidated as the only reference fair of its type in Spain, will bring together 86 exhibiting firms from Germany, France, Spain, Canada, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Portugal.

One of the new things this year will be the Open Meetings programme in which exhibitors and sponsors will be able to make direct contact with visiting users looking for maintenance solutions. Invited buyers include professionals from the car, machine-tool, capital goods and wind tower manufacturing sectors, among others.

The congress section will debate the analysis of digitalisation in maintenance, servitisation, technology in predictive and advanced maintenance in the plastic industry, with speakers from the Swedish Maintenance Society, Fieldeas, Sisteplant, Petronor, Enagas, Mik Center, PARC and Acerinox, among others. PUMPS&VALVES, extensive programme of activities and open meetings

Pumps & Valves, International Trade Show for Pump Systems, Valves and Equipment for Industrial Processes, will hold its third edition combining exhibition with an extensive programme of parallel activities. As a new addition this year, the event includes Open Meetings, an initiative in which exhibiting companies and sponsors will be able to come into direct contact with the invited buyers. Professionals confirmed include national and international buyers, representatives of some of the leading EPCs from Egypt and Sharjah, and the third emirate in terms of volume of the United Arab Emirates. The former will be present due to the heavy investment in new infrastructures in the country, so not only EPCs will be attending but water boards too. As for the Emirate, it is looking for water and electricity equipment for new projects. In the European sphere, the presence of Portuguese, Polish and Spanish companies can be highlighted.

They can all opt for holding interviews with the exhibiting companies that wish to do so. In total, Pumps&Valves has an exhibition area with 140 participating firms, including manufacturers and distributors of processing equipment, industrial pumps, valves and control valves, filtering equipment and technology and metering, test and control equipment.

Finally, the Pumps&Valves conference programme is marked this year by the intervention of the sector’s first rate cutting edge companies, with an extremely high level of specialisation. Under the title, “Challenges and opportunities of engineering, operation and connectivity of fluid processing equipment”, TechnipFMC, Air Liquide, Repsol, Accenture, John Craine Ibérica and Precognice will kick off the day of conferences. IV Edition of FITMAQ, a unique bargain machinery fair in Europe

FITMAQ, International Fair of Bargain & Used Machinery Fair, will hold its 4th edition with the largest selection of machines with a guarantee, among which machining centres, forming machines, bending machines, folding machines, cutting equipment, milling machines, hobbing machines, lathes and sawing machines stand out.

As a result of the joint efforts of Interempresas and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Fitmaq will include leading wholesalers, retailers and used machinery manufacturers, represented by 14 exhibiting firms. This year, FITMAQ has an Advisory Committee, which will be comprised of companies from the sector that have shown their commitment to promoting the only European metal-mechanical trade fair that focuses specifically on the bargain machinery market.

The industrial labour market looks for professionals at WORKinn

Working in the industrial sector is closer to becoming reality for dozens of professionals seeking to improve their active employment situation, return to the market or simply experience their first venture in the sector after completing their degrees. On 5th and 6th June, WORKinn brings together important companies, which will come to BEC in search of specific profiles to incorporate into their workforces. Therefore, the 24 companies participating in the only industrial employment fair in Spain will put around one hundred hob offers on the table.

Young people with ingenuity, attitude, facility for adaptation to new environments and languages… Nowadays, in addition to academic preparation, companies are looking for a series of human qualities in the young people applying to their companies, offering them quality work with prospects of continuing in the long term.

Participating companies include some of the most important firms in the industrial sector, such as Fagor Arrasate, Lontana Group, Ulma, Sna Europe and Ferchau, among others. Entities such as AFM Cluster (Advanced Manufacturing Technologies), co-organiser of the forum, and AIMHE, the Association of Machine Tool Importers, will also be present.
