+INDUSTRY 2023 presentation

The latest innovations and developments in products, processes and solutions will be showcased from 6 to 8 June at +INDUSTRY to boost competitiveness and excellence in industry. This event, the country’s largest platform focused on smart manufacturing, will bring together almost 800 exhibiting companies from 20 countries and more than one thousand products.

A press conference was held this morning at Bilbao Exhibition Centre to present the event. The event was attended by Xabier Basañez, the General Manager of Bilbao Exhibition Centre; Iñigo Usandizaga, the Head of Subcontex Gipuzkoa at the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce; Juan Carlos Ibarrola, the Head of Vocational Training for Employment at Lanbide; Xabier Ortueta, the General Manager of AFM Cluster, and Mª Carmen Gorostiza, the Head of Industry, Energy and ICTs at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

For three days, pavilions 1 and 3 of BEC will offer +INDUSTRY, a comprehensive promotional showcase for the main innovations in manufacturing processes and supplies for industry, digitalisation, additive manufacturing and 3D printing, equipment for industrial processes and asset maintenance.

It will be a business forum at the highest level, fostering cross-sector collaboration and facilitating commercial relations by simultaneously holding various leading trade fairs in their respective sectors: ADDIT3D, BeDIGITAL, MAINTENANCE, PUMPS&VALVES and SUBCONTRATACIÓN, as well as the industrial supplies and hardware sector and WORKinn Talent Hub.

 

A space for knowledge transfer and doing business

+INDUSTRY has also strengthened its profile as a space for business and knowledge transfer thanks to an extensive programme of content that includes Innovation workshops, various spaces for networking and interaction between visitors and exhibitors, as well as the +INDUSTRY TALKS conferences.

Key aspects of the latest development strategies in advanced industry will play a major role in the latter. It will feature more than 23 hours of debate in which more than fifty expert speakers will address topics of great interest to industry such as additive manufacturing and 3D printing; digitalisation and automation of processes; metaverse and digital twins, industrial cybersecurity and maintenance 5.0, among many other topics.

Business meetings and B2B meetings will also be held during +INDUSTRY. These include the 20th European Industrial Subcontracting Meeting, a programme of meetings with major domestic and international buyers, at which around a thousand meetings are scheduled.

+INDUSTRY is positioning itself as a leading international event, attracting highly specialist visitors from all over the world. Specifically, during the campaign, professionals from almost 80 countries have shown interest in attending the event, from major markets such as Germany, China, United Arab Emirates, United States, France, India, Italy, Mexico, Portugal and United Kingdom. They represent sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, capital goods, railways, engineering, machine tools, marine, petrochemicals, as well as distribution channels such as industrial supply warehouses, hardware cooperatives and purchasing groups.

Leading players in additive manufacturing and 3D printing will meet at ADDIT3D

New technologies, new markets and new opportunities will be the main themes of ADDIT3D, which will hold its seventh edition as a leading fair in the additive manufacturing and 3D printing sector in Spain.

ADDIT3D will feature both an exhibition and product presentation area and a conference section, making it a space for analysing technologies and markets, information, the study of opportunities and international promotion. Thus, on 6th June, during the Additive Talks, representatives of expert companies will discuss the development, implementation and major challenges of additive technology, contributing their own experiences and covering such topics as energy management and production in industry; laser configurations for additive metal manufacturing; innovation and software in 3D printing, as well as post-processing innovations for 3D printing, among others.

ADDIT3D exhibitor companies will also be able to participate in the B2B meetings of the 20th European Industrial Subcontracting Meeting, one of whose workshops will include buyers from the additive and 3D printing sector.

The meeting is organised by ADDIMAT, the Spanish Association of Additive and 3D Manufacturing Technologies, and Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

 

BeDIGITAL: Digital transformation at the heart of industrial competitiveness

With digitalisation already an established feature of the business world and the growth and business opportunities that digital technologies offer to industrial processes having been proven, the new edition of BeDIGITAL will be its fifth edition and will showcase the most innovative technology with a very dynamic format including segmented areas for the practical demonstration of products and services, networking and knowledge transfer.

Moreover, the Startup Village area will feature various advanced manufacturing start-ups and those linked to user sectors including energy, aeronautics and automotive.

On 7th June, representatives of leading companies will address the development of implementation of and major challenges posted by digitalisation at the Digital Talks. The conferences will focus on key industry topics such as shared data spaces, process digitalisation and automation, and industrial cybersecurity.

The latest innovations in maintenance and asset management at MAINTENANCE

Industrial maintenance professionals will find at MAINTENANCE, International Industrial Maintenance Exhibition, a forum specially designed to connect with other professionals in the sector, to exchange information and to access the latest solutions, technologies and materials of great interest to improve their production process. MAINTENANCE 2023 will mainly involve exhibiting companies representing the fields of measurement, evaluation and control; tribology and lubricants; maintenance technologies and industrial services; industrial software solutions; environmental services; engineering and consultancy firms.

Maintenance Talks, will offer on 8th June an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in industrial maintenance: from corrective maintenance to predictive to total productive maintenance, including predictive and preventive maintenance. Leading experts will present the best success stories and delve into and explore the main challenges facing the sector, such as sustainability in asset management and the role of maintenance in the green economy; the metaverse and digital twins; robotics in maintenance; and maintenance 5.0, among others.

PUMPS&VALVES, an event that drives the pump and valve industry with experience and knowledge

PUMPS&VALVES, the International Trade Show for Pump and Valve Systems and Equipment for Industrial Processesing, will be a specialist space where the sector’s manufacturers and distributors will showcase their latest technologies and innovations at the fifth edition of the event.

The companies participating in the exhibition area are mainly manufacturers and distributors of process equipment, industrial pumps, valves and control valves, filtration equipment and measurement, test and control technology and equipment.

The event is organised by Easyfairs and Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

 

SUBCONTRATACIÓN: a leading forum for SME subcontractors

The 21st edition of SUBCONTRATACIÓN will offer a comprehensive overview of manufacturing processes. It will include everything from the most basic industrial subcontracting processes to the most advanced technologies, complete manufacturing processes, as well as equipment and supplies. The event’s exhibition area will feature companies, chambers of commerce and the main sectoral associations, which will attend the event with their respective grouped participations.

All of them will be able to take part in the European Industrial Subcontracting Meeting, one of the country’s largest programmes of arranged B2B interviews, which this year celebrates its 20th edition; a milestone after more than 40 years working as an ally of the country’s subcontracting industry. The first day of the meeting will be attended by subcontracting companies in general, while the second day will feature representatives from the automotive, renewable energy and plastics sectors. The last day, 8th June, will focus on the additive manufacturing, defence and aeronautics sectors.

This meeting is organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce alongside CámaraBilbao and BEC, in collaboration with the Spanish Chambers of Commerce. Around a hundred major buyers from countries such as France, Italy, Morocco, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, Finland, Holland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and Tunisia, as well as Spain, will participate in this year’s event.

INDUSTRIAL HARDWARE AND SUPPLIES gain momentum at +INDUSTRY 2023

The +INDUSTRY 2023 exhibition section dedicated to industrial supplies and hardware will offer new hardware products including fasteners, cutting tools, industrial supplies and electricity, as well as hand tools and portable power tools.

The event is positioned is a major event for the industry. It will be attended by professionals from sectors including industrial supplies; purchasing groups and offices; cooperatives; retail hardware stores, and large DIY superstores. The event will also attract the professionals from major industries, technical directors and maintenance, quality and production managers, as well as end users, trade associations and installers.

The event is organised by the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

 

WORKinn Talent Hub: the leading industrial employment forum

Identifying talent and offering companies the most qualified people is one of the main objectives of WORKinn Talent Hub, which is returning for its seventh edition with more than a hundred registered job offers. The forum, which will be held in the pavilion for the first time, will offer on 7th and 8th June, as part of +INDUSTRY, a comprehensive showcase for talent in the industrial field aimed at working professionals seeking to improve their working conditions, the unemployed, as well as students in the last year of their course or recent graduates.

Thus, WORKinn Talent Hub will be a strategic gathering for companies, universities, vocational training centres, recruitment companies and temporary employment agencies, development and employment agencies, students and workers.
